SAT

Overview

The Scholastic Assessment Test, commonly referred to as SAT, is a standardized test initiated in 1926, intended for college admissions in the United States. SAT test assesses one’s critical reading, writing, and mathematics skills. A high SAT score can be an added advantage in seeking admission to colleges. Despite the fact that most colleges and universities do not base their admissions on SAT scores, it is important for self-development and to avoid the pressure that may be caused by standardized testing.
