Overview

The Graduate Record Examination is a multiple choice, computer-based, standardized exam designed for graduate schools and business graduate programs of most institutions of higher learning around the world. Most law schools in the United States also use GRE scores for admission. The GRE is designed to measure students’ abilities to analyze and evaluate written material, as well as critical thinking and problem solving skills. It includes basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. The GRE test is one of the most crucial elements in graduate or business school admissions.

The GRE was meant to provide graduate, business and law institutions with standardized measurement for comparing applicants’ competency and readiness for graduate-level study. GRE scores have been categorized as three namely: Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning. The validity score will be 5 years.
